Next.js SaaS Boilerplate — Ship faster

Ship your SaaS faster
with everything already built in

A Next.js SaaS starter with everything already built in — auth, billing, database, and the essentials you need to go from idea to launch without wasting time on setup.

Product screenshot preview

Most startups don't fail. They just never launch.

Before your first user, you need auth, payments, emails, and a database — none of which have anything to do with why your idea is worth building.

01

Days disappear into setup

Stripe, auth, emails, webhooks — each one takes longer than it should. You're deep in docs before you've shipped anything that matters.

then

02

Momentum quietly dies

The feature you wanted to build keeps getting pushed. Progress feels invisible, and the gap keeps growing.

then

03

The idea never ships

Not because it was wrong — because the energy ran out. Most SaaS projects are abandoned before the first paying customer, not at failure, but at exhaustion.

Two ways to build a SaaS.

Without Yousship

  • Weeks wiring up Stripe before writing a single feature

  • Piecing together auth from tutorials that contradict each other

  • Debugging email delivery at midnight before launch

  • Rewriting the same boilerplate for every new project

  • Running out of steam before a single user signs up

With Yousship

  • Payments, auth, and emails working on day one

  • A production-ready codebase you can build on immediately

  • Every integration tested and documented — no guesswork

  • Weeks of setup time reclaimed and put back into your product

  • Ship to your first user in days, not months

What's included

Everything you need to ship.

Payments

Turn visitors into paying customers without building billing infrastructure from scratch. You get checkout and customer portal flows for Stripe and Lemon Squeezy, plus webhook-ready backend patterns for upgrades, cancellations, renewals, and purchase events. That means less payment glue code, fewer billing surprises, and a faster path to first revenue.

Founder note

Hey, I'm Youssef.

Building in public and sharing the exact foundation I use to launch faster.

I didn't build Yousship to sell code. I built it because I kept losing momentum to repetitive setup work every time I had a new product idea.

Auth flows, payment plumbing, transactional emails, edge cases. The same tasks over and over, before I could even validate demand. Yousship gives you a clean starting point so those weeks become days.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers to the practical questions most founders ask before getting started.

  • 1. The codebase — a production-ready Next.js starter (TypeScript, App Router) with payments, auth, database, transactional emails, a blog, a docs site, a user dashboard, and 40+ landing page components. Everything is wired together and ready to build on.2. The documentation — built into the product itself, covering every feature, how to configure it, and how to get from zero to live as fast as possible.
  • A template gives you pages. Yousship gives you a working product. The landing page components are there — hero, pricing, FAQ, blog — but underneath them is a fully functional backend: user accounts, payment processing, transactional emails, and a dashboard. You could rip out every landing page section and still have a complete SaaS foundation to build on.
  • AI code editors are only as good as the context they have. Yousship gives them a lot to work with — strict TypeScript, consistent file structure, clear naming conventions, and documented patterns throughout. When you ask your AI to add a feature, it understands the project well enough to do it properly, not just generate something that technically compiles.
  • Yousship is built on Next.js, React, and TypeScript. Here's roughly what you can reuse depending on your stack:React but not Next.js — around 80% of the codebase applies directly.TypeScript/JavaScript but not React — around 20% (utilities, config patterns, API logic).Next.js + React + TypeScript — 100%. You're in the right place.
  • Build as many projects as you want, including commercial ones — there are no project limits. The license is personal and non-transferable: you cannot resell, share, or otherwise distribute the source code or any part of it to anyone else. One purchase, one person. Full details are on the terms of service page.
  • Yes — the documentation is publicly available and covers every feature in detail. If you still have questions, reach out before purchasing and we'll answer them honestly.
  • Anywhere that supports Next.js — Vercel, Netlify, Render, Railway, and others. Vercel is the easiest starting point: zero config, automatic deployments on every push, and a generous free tier. The deployment docs walk you through the full process.
  • Most of the services Yousship integrates with have free tiers — Vercel, Supabase, and Resend all let you start for free. If you use magic link sign-ins, Supabase charges around $1 per 1,000 users. Stripe and Lemon Squeezy take a percentage of transactions, but only when you're actually earning. You can realistically launch your first project for $0/month.
  • One-time payment. You buy it once and own it. No recurring fees, no seat limits, no usage caps.
  • Because you get immediate access to the GitHub repository upon purchase, we are unable to offer refunds. That said, most Yousship customers are up and running within hours to days — and many start earning from their first users shortly after. If you have questions before buying, reach out and we'll answer them honestly.
  • Most developers have a running local environment within 5 minutes and a live deployment the same day. The tutorials walk you through every step.
  • Yes. You pick one in config.ts and the rest of the codebase adapts. Both support one-time payments and subscriptions.
  • Yes — and not just for the sake of it. Yousship is the boilerplate I use for my own projects, so keeping it current is in my own interest. When I update it for something I'm building, you get the same update. Your purchase includes lifetime updates, no strings attached.
  • Every feature has its own docs page explaining how it works, what to change, and what to watch out for. If you're still stuck, reach out via the support email — we're happy to help.
