- A template gives you pages. Yousship gives you a working product. The landing page components are there — hero, pricing, FAQ, blog — but underneath them is a fully functional backend: user accounts, payment processing, transactional emails, and a dashboard. You could rip out every landing page section and still have a complete SaaS foundation to build on.
- AI code editors are only as good as the context they have. Yousship gives them a lot to work with — strict TypeScript, consistent file structure, clear naming conventions, and documented patterns throughout. When you ask your AI to add a feature, it understands the project well enough to do it properly, not just generate something that technically compiles.
- Yousship is built on Next.js, React, and TypeScript. The license is personal and non-transferable: you cannot resell, share, or otherwise distribute the source code or any part of it to anyone else. One purchase, one person. - Yes — the documentation is publicly available and covers every feature in detail. If you still have questions, reach out before purchasing and we'll answer them honestly.
- Anywhere that supports Next.js — Vercel, Netlify, Render, Railway, and others. Vercel is the easiest starting point: zero config, automatic deployments on every push, and a generous free tier. The deployment docs walk you through the full process.
- Most of the services Yousship integrates with have free tiers — Vercel, Supabase, and Resend all let you start for free. If you use magic link sign-ins, Supabase charges around $1 per 1,000 users. Stripe and Lemon Squeezy take a percentage of transactions, but only when you're actually earning. You can realistically launch your first project for $0/month.
- One-time payment. You buy it once and own it. No recurring fees, no seat limits, no usage caps.
- Because you get immediate access to the GitHub repository upon purchase, we are unable to offer refunds. That said, most Yousship customers are up and running within hours to days — and many start earning from their first users shortly after. - Most developers have a running local environment within 5 minutes and a live deployment the same day. The tutorials walk you through every step.
- Yes. You pick one in config.ts and the rest of the codebase adapts. Both support one-time payments and subscriptions.
- Yes — and not just for the sake of it. Yousship is the boilerplate I use for my own projects, so keeping it current is in my own interest. When I update it for something I'm building, you get the same update. Your purchase includes lifetime updates, no strings attached.
